Cast-Iron Lapping Plate

The cast-iron lapping plate is a core working component for precision lapping. With stable metallurgy, good dimensional stability and a precisely machined working surface, it supports uniform material removal, high flatness and long-term process stability.
  • Detailed Description

Product Features

  • Product Core: A key component for maintaining lapping plate working-surface accuracy and condition.
  • Key Application: Used mainly for rough dressing, truing or process-specific dressing of lapping plates, helping maintain stable flatness and cutting performance.
  • Material Advantage: Ductile cast iron (QT) offers excellent strength, toughness and wear resistance while maintaining good cutting performance and vibration damping. Its spheroidal graphite structure reduces stress concentration and extends component life.
  • Material Advantage: Gray cast iron (HT) provides good castability, wear resistance, vibration damping and a low coefficient of friction with strong cost efficiency. Its flake graphite structure offers lubrication and chip-breaking capability.
  • Precision Characteristics: Chemical composition, metallographic structure and casting or heat-treatment processes are strictly controlled to ensure uniform structure, low internal stress and dimensional stability. The working surface is precision machined for uniform and efficient performance.
